Welcome to the Year 6 page

In Year 6, the class teacher is Mrs. Rushton.

Mrs. Stanley, Mrs. Ashcroft and Miss Smith support the children in class.

We have an exciting year ahead in the final year of Primary School.  Our curriculum is fabulous with lots of extra-curricular activities added in to make it a fun packed year; from RobinWood, Gulliver's World, plays and the final Leaver's Assembly.  I'm looking forward to the year ahead - a lot of hardwork and fun!

Important Information about Year 6

Mrs. Rushton teaches us every day except Wednesday and Thursday afternoon when we are taught by Mrs. Stanley.

PE is on a Monday and Wednesday: children are to come to school in their normal uniform so please make sure PE kits are in school these days.

Reading books and planners should be brought in every day. Children should read four times a week and once with an adult. This year the children will be using their reading journal to record reading and homework.

Celebration assemblies will take place on a Friday morning.

The theme for spring is: ‘We Create’.

Our school value for spring is ‘Appreciate’ and our British Value is 'Rule of Law and Individual Liberty’.
