Welcome to the Year 6 page
In Year 6, the class teacher is Mrs. Rushton, Mrs. Stanley and Mrs. Ashworth help to support the children in class.
Mrs. Lea leads Forest School this term on a Tuesday afternoon.
Important Information about Year 6
Mrs. Rushton teaches us every day except Wednesday and Thursday afternoon when we are taught by Mrs. Stanley.
PE is on a Wednesday and a Thursday: children are to come to school in their normal uniform so please make sure PE kits are in school these days.
Reading books and planners should be brought in every day. Children should read four times a week and once with an adult. This year the children will be using their reading journal to record reading and homework.
Celebration assemblies will take place on a Friday afternoon.
The theme for Autumn 1 is: ‘We Explore’.
Our school value for Autumn is ‘Respect’ and our British Values are ‘Democracy and Respect’.
