In Year 1, the class teacher is Mr Tilley and the teaching assistants are Mrs Cross and Mrs Lea. We are all thrilled to be part of your child’s learning journey here at Anderton and we invite you to join us on our adventure.
Year 1’s Useful Information
- PE is on Thursdays and Fridays
- Outdoor Learning is on Mondays
- Homework is assigned on a Friday and marked the following Thursday
- Spellings are assigned on a Friday and tested the following Thursday
- Spellings and number facts are to be practised on EdShed each week
- Home reading is encouraged for at least twenty minutes daily
